This Privacy Policy explains what personal information OtakuThemes ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our website and member area, why we collect it, and how it is handled. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we collect:

Account information — email address, full name, and, if provided, phone number and country. Your password is never stored by us in plain text; it is managed by our authentication provider, Supabase.
Google sign-in information — if you sign in or sign up with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Order & license information — products purchased, license keys issued, domains activated against a license, and order/payment status.
Payment information — since payment is made via cryptocurrency transfer, we do not collect or store card numbers or banking details. We may retain a proof-of-payment image you submit, and the wallet transaction details needed to confirm your order.
Custom order information — for custom development services, information you submit in project documents, messages, and signed agreements related to that order.
Support communications — messages you send us, including via WhatsApp.
Technical information — IP address and device/browser information collected automatically for security purposes, such as bot/abuse prevention on sign-in and sign-up forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account
To process orders, issue license keys, and deliver Products
To verify payments and prevent fraud
To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
To send order confirmations and other transactional emails
To enforce our Terms of Service and license terms
To protect the Service against spam, abuse, and unauthorized access

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes personal information on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:

Supabase — authentication, account data, and database storage
Cloudflare — file/object storage for Product downloads and assets, and Turnstile bot protection on our sign-in and sign-up forms
Google — optional "Sign in with Google" authentication
An email delivery provider — for transactional emails such as order confirmations and password resets

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 7.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and bot-protection on authentication forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information (available directly from your member area Profile tab)
Request deletion of your account and associated personal information
Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We may need to retain certain order and license records even after account deletion where required for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in their jurisdiction.
